Patient Focus Group meeting - come and have your say!
ABOUT US
The Hurley Group is a partnership of three practices:
Riverside Medical Centre opened on 10th April 2007. It provides NHS Primary Care services to Vauxhall and surrounding areas. The practice is housed in purpose built, state-of-the-art premises in St George Wharf, a modern development adjacent to Vauxhall Bridge.
The centre is designed to meet the health needs of a rapidly expanding population, with a catchment area that encompasses some of the most deprived areas in London and aims to provide a high quality service to the entire local population.
The practice maintains close links with the Hurley Clinic and some of the services offered at Riverside Medical Centre will be based at the Hurley Clinic.
Riverside also includes provides a Primary Care Resource Centre, which houses PCT health providers, including Homeless, Drug & Alcohol and TACT teams.
The Hurley Clinic is a large GP surgery in Kennington Lane. It comprises a long established and experienced team of healthcare professionals who have a track record of delivering the highest quality of healthcare to the local community in Lambeth.
Healthcare is provided by a team of over 20 doctors and nurses, some of whom work across all three practices. The well established management, administration and reception infrastructure are all focussed on optimising patient care. In the last two years the practice has been awarded maximum QOF (Quality and Outcome Framework) points.
The practice is also the base for Health Visitors, Counsellors, Psychologists, Osteopath services as well as innovative Drug & Alcohol teams and Edlink - the Education Link Project. This project links primary health care teams with their local primary schools, helping to bridge the gap between health and education.
Sternhall Lane Surgery is a busy practice in the heart of Peckham. It provides first class healthcare to the population of Peckham, East Dulwich and Nunhead.
Healthcare is delivered by a team of five doctors, three nurses and a Heath Care Assistant. They are supported by a loyal management, administration and reception team. Other services are delivered by a team which includes Health Visitors, Mental Health worker, a Dietician, benefits adviser and a Child Psychologist. The CLAS team provide drug and alcohol rehabilitation services.
The surgery has been recently redecorated and welcomes new patient registrations.
